O Poke
A Fusion of Hawaiian and Japanese Flavors in the Heart of Lisbon
Located in the bustling El Corte Inglés in Lisbon, O Poke by Chef Kiko offers an innovative dining experience that seamlessly blends Hawaiian and Japanese culinary influences. This project aimed to create a vibrant, welcoming space that embodies the laid-back elegance of Hawaii while infusing the minimalist sophistication of Japanese design. The restaurant is more than just a dining destination—it is an immersive encounter that invites guests to enjoy fresh, high-quality poke bowls in a space that celebrates the beauty of cultural fusion.
The design concept for O Poke was inspired by the warmth and natural aesthetics of the Hawaiian islands, paired with the refined and tranquil qualities of Japanese interiors. The goal was to create an environment that mirrored the freshness of the cuisine while providing an inviting space for customers to relax and enjoy their meals. The space was designed to reflect a harmony between both cultures, showcasing how the combination of vibrant colors, natural materials, and sleek lines can come together to create an authentic, yet modern, dining atmosphere.
O Poke by Chef Kiko is more than just a restaurant—it is a sensory experience that celebrates the harmonious blend of Hawaiian and Japanese culture. The design successfully captures the essence of both influences, creating a space that feels fresh, inviting, and sophisticated. The result is a restaurant that is as much about the visual and atmospheric experience as it is about the food, inviting guests to enjoy a true taste of cultural fusion in Lisbon.
