San Francisco Eclectic Family Home
This project was a transformative interior design endeavor for a family home in San Francisco, completed while working at Antonio Martins Interior Design. The homeowners, deeply passionate about design and vintage furniture, envisioned a space that merged modern comfort with timeless elegance.
The design concept focused on blending mid century and contemporary styles, incorporating an eclectic mix of vintage and custom furniture pieces to infuse character and warmth into every room. Special attention was given to sourcing unique, high-quality items that resonated with the family's aesthetic and history, ensuring each piece told its own story while contributing to the overall design narrative. I worked closely with the clients to understand their preferences, balancing their love for vintage finds with the functional needs of a modern family home.
Key elements included carefully curated color palettes, artful use of textures, and layouts that promoted comfort and flow throughout the house. The design incorporated a harmonious balance of old-world charm and new-world practicality, creating inviting and elegant spaces for daily living and entertaining. The result was a home that felt both timeless and highly personalized, echoing the family's passion for unique design and a life well lived.
